Community Fun Run & Walk THIS WEEKEND!

**Entries close TODAY!**

Welcome to Traralgon Harriers Athletics Club Website

Traralgon Harriers is a running club for people of all ages and abilities. We aim to provide a fun, structured, supportive environment for new and experienced runners alike.

In addition to hosting our Thursday Night races, the club organises some of Victoria’s well known running events, including the Traralgon Marathon, the Walhalla Trail Run and our annual King of the Mountain.  While many of our events target the serious or more seasoned runner, we welcome people of all abilities.  Running with the Harriers means running for fun and enjoyment, and our fun, friendly approach makes the club a great option for anyone wanting to improve their fitness, their running and enjoy the company of like minded people.

Thursday Night Run/Walk

With the exception of a few weeks over Christmas, you can run or walk with the Harriers every Thursday night.  See the calendar below for the location of the next outing.  You can find all of the Thursday race results on our Results Archive page (and some happy snaps on our Thursday night photos page).

New Runners please arrive around 5.45pm on your first night and approach one of the volunteers on duty, identified by wearing a high vis vest.  They will register you and ensure you are covered by insurance, give you a club brochure, explain what you need to know and introduce you to a few others.  Directions to the course are available using google maps function from the calendar.

News and Events

Pictured (below) a group of harriers at last Thursday’s run including Edi Murat and his children and wife, Nicholas, Ameli and Myra, Andrew and Ashlee Turrell, Katie Lee and Melanie Riddle.  A warm welcome to Ashlee and Katie for their first run.  Looks like the Murat family are warming up for the Community Fun Run.

Duncan’s Run Hundred

10616171_984695164892805_8285078164820549172_nAfter a stunning inaugural event in 2013, it was wonderful to see this event grow even bigger in it’s second year with people coming literally from far and wide to tackle the iconic trails that wind their way from Balook.  Duncan’s spirit shone through across the day which together with idyllic weather conditions provided the backdrop for many great stories and personal achievements.  Pictured are our own 100km legends, Darrel Cross and Ian Twite.  For full results visit the website
