Welcome to Traralgon Harriers Athletics Club Website

Traralgon Harriers is a running club for people of all ages and abilities. We aim to provide a fun, structured, supportive environment for new and experienced runners alike. In addition to hosting our Thursday Night races, the club organises some of Victoria’s well known running events, including the Traralgon Marathon, the Walhalla Trail Run and our annual King of the Mountain.  While many of our events target the serious or more seasoned runner, we welcome people of all abilities.  Running with the Harriers means running for fun and enjoyment, and our fun, friendly approach makes the club a great option for anyone wanting to improve their fitness, their running and enjoy the company of like minded people.

Thursday Night Run/Walk

With the exception of a few weeks over Christmas, you can run or walk with the Harriers every Thursday night.  See the calendar below for the location of the next outing.  You can find all of the Thursday race results on our Results Archive page (and some happy snaps on our Thursday night photos page).

New Runners- please arrive around 5.45pm on your first night and approach one of the volunteers on duty (identified by a high vis vest).  They will register you and ensure you are covered by insurance, give you a club brochure, explain what you need to know and introduce you to a few others.  Directions to the course are available using the Google maps function from the calendar.

parkrun comes to town, the club is delighted to have contributed to the establishment of Traralgon parkrun which was officially launched on Saturday 4 April 2015.   The 112th parkrun in Australia was very successful with 112 participants.  We believe parkrun is going to provide some fantastic benefits to the local community as well as our members.  For more information and to register refer to the Traralgon parkrun website and facebook sites.  We welcome and encourage anyone to participate and hope that over the coming 12-18 months that other towns in Latrobe Valley will establish their own parkrun events.
