Welcome to Traralgon Harriers Athletics Club Website

Traralgon Harriers is a running club for people of all ages and abilities. We aim to provide a fun, structured, supportive environment for new and experienced runners alike.

In addition to hosting our Thursday Night races, the club organises some of Victoria’s well known running events, including the Traralgon Marathon, the Walhalla Trail Run and our annual King of the Mountain.  While many of our events target the serious or more seasoned runner, we welcome people of all abilities.  Running with the Harriers means running for fun and enjoyment, and our fun, friendly approach makes the club a great option for anyone wanting to improve their fitness, their running and enjoy the company of like minded people.

LED Arm Bands

Last year the committee proposed the distribution of LED armbands for all Thursday night runners during winter and they have now arrived and are in use. All members will receive 2 armbands to improve the safety and visibility of runners and everyone is required to wear at least one during winter runs.
Runners who forget to bring their armbands will be able to purchase a replacement for $5 each.
Runners are responsible for replacement of the batteries when they run out. The devices are somewhat delicate and the wires attaching to the battery can easily be detached so please take care during battery changeover.
The LED Arm Bands were very well received by all runners. They not only improved visibility and safety but also made it easier for runners to know where they were going and are easily visible 300-400m away.
